Like everyone COVID-19 has dramatically changed the way we meet and operate as a church. From Sunday 6th September 2020 we will start to hold gathered worship services again. All our services are streamed through Zoom and then uploaded to YouTube so if you can't attend in person you can still join with us in worship. For the Zoom link please use the Contact page and we will send it to you.
We are in the process of making a short video of what you can expect to find and what worship services will be like, but for now, here are a few things to highlight:
Face coverings are compulsory whilst in the building.
Only those who are leading or preaching will be permitted to take their masks off during the service but will be required, like everyone else, to wear a face-covering when not leading or preaching.
One way system.
There is a one-way system around the building, clearly marked out with floor stickers. Stewards and volunteers will be around to help show you around to your seat. Once in your seat, you are encouraged to remain there for the whole of the service.
We will be holding two services at 9am and 11am. We can have a maximum of 30 people in the building with social distancing measures. Services will be a maximum of 40 mins long and for the time being there will be no singing. If you could let us know which service you would like to attend, that would be most helpful. You can do that here.
Whilst we get used operating within our new COVID guidelines we won't be offering specific Children's and Youth provision. However, parents are welcome to bring toys and crafts along.
As per government guidelines, we will require contact details from you as you arrive at the building. If you are in the directory we simply need your name, if not then we need your name and a way of contacting you in case someone presents themselves with COVID symptoms.
IF YOU THINK YOU MAY HAVE COVID-19 SYMPTOMS OR ARE UNWELL PLEASE DO NOT COME TO GATHERED WORSHIP FOR 2 WEEKS BUT JOIN US OVER ZOOM.
